This Policy is issued in accordance with Zimbabwe’s Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 11:12].

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide directly

  • Contact form. When you submit an enquiry through our Site, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and the content of your message.
  • Investor / partnership enquiries. Our “Partner With Us” page describes investment opportunities (including our Distressed Investment Strategies Fund) and offers downloadable prospectus documents. If you contact us regarding an investment or partnership opportunity, we collect the information you provide in that correspondence, which may include financial and business details necessary to assess a proposed transaction.
  • Information you provide when you call, email, or otherwise correspond with our team directly, including named contacts such as our Marketing & BD Director.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Usage and device data. We may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring pages.
  • Our Site may use cookies and similar technologies to operate correctly, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use the Site. See Section 6 below.
  • Our contact page embeds Google Maps to show our office location. Google may collect data when you interact with the embedded map, subject to Google’s own privacy policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to enquiries submitted through the contact form or by other means;
  • Evaluate and correspond about prospective investment, partnership, or investee opportunities;
  • Provide information about our residential and commercial projects and services;
  • Maintain the security, functionality, and performance of the Site; and
  • Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not use your personal information for unsolicited marketing unless you have consented to receive it.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal information on the basis of:

  • Consent — for example, when you voluntarily submit our contact form;
  • Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps — where processing is necessary to discuss or carry out a construction, development, investment, or partnership arrangement;
  • Legal obligation — where required by applicable Zimbabwean law; and
  • Legitimate interests — such as responding to enquiries, evaluating investment proposals, and maintaining Site security.

5. Disclosure of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share personal information with:

  • Service providers, such as website hosting providers and email providers, who support our operations and are required to use your information only for the purposes we specify;
  • Professional advisors, including legal, financial, or investment advisors, where necessary to evaluate or structure a proposed transaction;
  • Regulators or government authorities, where required by applicable law; and
  • Prospective co-investors, financiers, or partners, only where necessary to progress a transaction you have engaged with us about, and only to the extent you have authorised.

6. Cookies

Our Site may use cookies to support core functionality and to understand how visitors use the Site. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect certain Site features.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to satisfy any applicable legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Enquiry data that does not lead to a business relationship is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the enquiry.

8. Your Rights

Subject to the Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 11:12] and other applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to personal information we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations;
  • Withdraw consent to processing based on consent; and
  • Object to certain processing.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 1.

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Third-Party Links and Content

Our Site may link to third-party websites (including social media platforms and downloadable documents) and embed third-party content (including Google Maps). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.

11. Children’s Privacy

Our Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
